Hope Taylor is a multidisciplinary teaching artist practicing drawing, painting, image making, video, sculpture, papermaking, sewing, collage, textile design and bookmaking. Their studio practice centers on reciprocity and interconnection with nature. Focused on the teachings of earth and elements, they explore the infinite possibilities transformation in their work with fiber and pigment. 

Hope is currently an artist in residence at the Flower City Arts Center in Rochester, New York. They earned a B.S. in Studio Art Printmaking in 2009 and an M.F.A in Visual Studies at the Visual Studies Workshop in association with SUNY Brockport. With over 15 years of teaching experience in visual arts, Hope facilitates classes and workshops in the community to provide supportive opportunities for creative expression and collaboration for all ages.
